If you could have met me when I was 10 years old, you would have met a kid who was equal parts curious and emotional; she always had a book in tow, she would jump at any chance to learn something new, she was often told she was an old soul, and she oddly (though now it seems less so) loved the smell and textures of paper goods.

And let’s just say, 20+ years later, that description of me is still very true.
